Nest Site noise
Hi all,
Thanks for all the posts and information about sounds that the microphone is picking up. I appreciate people's concern for the nest site and am sorry to hear about any unexpected, inappropriate language. The microphone is quite sensitive and does pick up audible sound from a distance of several hundred yards. That said, although I have not visited the site recently, I am not aware of any building projects in the area. Fortunately, I am planning a visit to the nest site to replace the IR light. At that time I hope to find out more about our background noise and will report back.

Wow!! too cold for live action at the nest?? Couldn't get a live feed this morning, no sound either.

Is it just too cold for the equipment? No live feed or audio again this early morning...maybe later it'll come back.

Just want to say that I heard lots of "construction" type sounds in the background last fall...saws, hammering, bits of conversation. Wondered how close it was to nest?! What are implications as Bald Eagle is delisted? Assume nesting areas will no longer be protected?
