This Eagle Biologist Journal will be updated approximately once a week with an overview of what has happened in the last week and what we expect in the next couple of weeks. The Eagle Web cam is presented by BioDiversity Research Institute and made possible through the generous support of FPL Energy Maine Hydro, Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, and US Fish and Wildlife Service.

Wow!! The nest is beautiful this morning!!! The rain on the lens is giving a beautifully, artistic rendition of 'the nest' - block out the noise of the chain saws and it's perfect. Not surprised to hear the saws -many branches down on our property over the weekend, no trees tho!
Thanks Patrick

Oh and I really like the pulled back cam since very little is happening now - it's a great view!

As much as I love birds, I love cats and on Tuesday Oct 21, a new neighbor was upset because my cat run through his field outback and shot her in the head. With saying that things have been very hard for me. So again, thank you gg for posting your lovely videos.
Patrick a BIG THANK YOU! For getting the cam back up so quickly and checking to see what the problem is.
