Cam is reconnected.
The camera was down yesterday. You should now find that the image has returned and shows a beautiful day here in Maine.
All the best,

Thank you for the info on the cam and for fixing it so quickly the last two days it has gone down.
It is a beautiful day at the nest for sure. The water is so blue and the tree has lost most of it's dead needles and is green again. No sight of eagles but there has been a little calling today.
Sure dad will be doing nestorations soon.
This nest is the best and really appreciate being able to watch it.
Good Morning All … Saturday Oct. 18, 08 …8:10 am
There was a visit this morning. Here is the video
Maine Bald Eagle Visit 10/18/08 ... 7:04 AM
Hope to see more visits today … Enjoy!
Peggy
And Patrick, "Again thank you for everything!"
10/18 3:00 to 4:00 pm Eastern time.
I thought I'd just take a quick look and Mom and Dad were both home! He flew off right after I logged on and I don't know how long they had been there.
She was busy eating most of the time and when she was finished she started calling for Dad! She did a little tidying up, moved a few twigs!
Dad showed up and he really went to town cleaning up the nest bowl!
It is so good to see them both, it made my day!

Hello everyone, what a great day it was for viewing the Eagles.
There were two visits one this morning that I listed earlier. And another visit at 2:50 PM. The visit lasted about an hour and a half. And a couple of times there were 2 Eagles. I made a 5 part video set with times and a description of what each video has to do with.
Part 1 6:27
2 eagles came screeching into the nest. Seems to be a third in the area. Just before a minute into the video, looks to be an Eagle fly by shadow. The First Eagle that landed looked like it brought in some type of prey. It seems to me that the second Eagle came in defending the first Eagle from the third Eagle. Once everything was clear the second Eagle leaves so the first Eagle could eat its prey.
Part 2 8:14
Eats its prey and at about 1 minute before the end of the video Eagle does some calling out.
Part 3 3:46
Continues to eat prey.
Part 4 9:09
Hangs out towards the end of the nest calling out. About three minutes into the video the Eagle jumps up to the Y branch. Just before 4 minutes into the video a second Eagle Lands (a bit of buffing on my end, but tried to do some fixes with it). The second eagle starts tidying up the mess from the other Eagle. And moving some sticks.
Part 5 5:23
About a minute into the video it almost to me looks like there might have been an attempt of bonding. Just after 3 minutes 1 Eagle flew off.
Have a wonderful evening. Peggy

Saturday we were greeted by both Mom and Dad in the nest. Mom brought what looked like white feathered prey. Dad followed her in, but didn't confront her eating. There was a flyover while they both screeched in the nest at the shadow above them.
I'll wait to see the video's others post before I bog this down with my own videos of the visit.
It had to be done in 3 parts, another did a modified version and yet another was in 5 parts.
All are simply wonderful to view!

Peggy,
I have always loved your videos. Do you think this is the same female we watched in 2007?
Thanks,
Chapin
