A time for renovations...

Hi All, I am sorry for the long duration between my posts. As you may know the eagles have been visiting the nest infrequently since my last post. They seem to be both adding sticks to the nest and using the nest as a feeding perch.
In past years eagles at this nest have laid eggs as early as the first week of March. Currently, these birds do not seem on track for that date but nesting is still certainly a possibility at this site. Notably Maine is anticipated to receive a wintry mix of rain, ice and snow on Thursday and Friday. It will be interseting to see how these birds weather the storm.
