Cam Update 9-10-07

Good morning all. Cam is back up again. It would appear that the site lost power over the weekend and I had to restart the computer and camera this morning to get up and running again. I hope there isn't any hidden problems from the lightening strike.

A couple notes regarding sound and night vision. The sound is off to protect the privacy of the people that live in the area and the infrared light is unplugged to prolong the life of the light. Both of these will be turned on before nesting in the winter.

Thank you all for your continued support and patience.

Back online

With the help of collaborators on site we were able to get the cam back up and running. Good news, the equipment survived yet another lightening strike.

Let's hope the camera will hold on for another year.

Thank for your continued support.

Camera Update

We switched out the surge protector and the camera is still down. Not a good sign. The computer is running but the camera is still down which means that we may have some more serious problems. Lightening can cause all sorts of problems.

We are working on it.
